We would really like your child to join our Reception classes at the start of your Sandy Lane Primary School journey. We are very proud of our school - it's a place where your child will flourish and reach their full potential. 

For primary school admissions, please contact the School Admission Teams at Bracknell Forest  on 01344 354023 - lines are open until 12:00 pm - or by email at school.admissions@bracknell-forest.gov.uk. They will provide you with the relevant advice and information regarding the initial process of applying for a school place for your child. School Admissions will then forward your child's in-year school application to us for processing. Parents are then informed whether or not their child has successfully gained a school place.

Applying for a Reception School Place for September 2024

This application process is for children born on or between 01 September 2019 – 31 August 2020.

Applicants must apply to their home local authority; Bracknell Forest residents can apply online www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/applyforprimary

The closing date for applications is 15th January 2024.

All parents/carers are required to Read The Guide to Primary Education 2024.25, which is displayed on the Bracknell Forest website (www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/applyforprimary) this provides parents with all the information they need to know regarding admission and how the allocation process works.

If you are not a Bracknell Forest resident then you can still apply for a school place at the school however, you must apply for this school place through your home local authority.
