Sandy Lane Primary School joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust in October 2022 becoming an academy. We process applications for school places in accordance with the GLT admissions policy which is available at:

NURSERY
Nursery places are allocated by Sandy Lane Primary School. Children are eligible to join our Nursery the term following their third birthday. We offer 5 morning sessions, 5 afternoon sessions or 5 full day sessions for a period of 38 weeks per year. If you require full day sessions, please apply for extended funding of 30 hours at https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/
Application forms are available here: Nursery Place Application Form.docx or a hard copy can be obtained from the main school office - this should be completed and returned with supporting documents. Your child will then be placed on the relevant waiting list.

RECEPTION
If your child was born on or between 1st September 2018 - 31st August 2019 - please contact Bracknell Forest Council at 01344 354023 - lines are open until 12:00 pm - or by email at school.admissions@bracknell-forest.gov.uk.
If your child was born on or between the 1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020 then your child is eligible for a primary school place from September 2024.
First point of contact for Primary School admissions are managed by the School Admission Team at Bracknell Forest. Please contact them on 01344 354023 - lines are open until 12:00 pm - or by email at school.admissions@bracknell-forest.gov.uk. For Reception intake 2024-2025, Common Application Forms should be submitted to Bracknell Forest Council by 15th January 2024. Should you wish to appeal, please do so by 25th May 2024.

Years 1 - 6
If your child falls within the age ranges of Years 1 - 6 and you are a late applicant - after 1st September - please apply via Bracknell Forest Council completing an 'In-Year Application Form'. Bracknell Forest Council will forward your application to us for processing. We operate a waiting list for those year groups that are over-subscribed - parents will be contacted via email as soon a place becomes available.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
If your child was born on or between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013, your child will be eligible to apply for a secondary school place for September 2024 - details for applications to follow.
