YEAR 4 LETTERS

Living Rainforest

Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 4 Educational Visit - The Living Rainforest

Tuesday 19th July 2022

To support our Enquiry learning and as part of our Rainforest topic, a visit to The Living Rainforest has been organised.

The Living Rainforest is an educational experience and resource supporting learning across the curriculum and enabling children to experience an exciting learning environment which links to their areas of study. With over 700 species of tropical rainforest plants and animals, including free-ranging birds, butterflies and small reptiles, children will have the opportunity to walk around inside the glass house and see nature close up. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the rainforest and take a tour relating to Amazing Adaptations of animals in the rainforest.

The children will be in small groups, supervised by a familiar adult at all times.

When:                                     Tuesday 19th July 2022

Transport:                              Coach

Dress:                                     School uniform and sensible, flat school shoes.

As Year 4 have not been offsite yet, please complete the attached Medical form.

We may need parent volunteers for the trip. If you are able to do so then please could you let us know on the reply slip. We will inform you before the trip, if you are required.

If there are insufficient funds received to cover the cost of this visit, it will be cancelled and all payments will be returned.  Please complete and return the attached slip.  If you are unable to make payment online, please return cash/*cheque in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with your child’s name and the amount by Friday 24th June 2022.
